Being vulnerable and communicating is key to your mental health. Susan Blain speaks to mental wellness and illness and the adversities encountered. Shame on any level does not help. Understanding does and why she’s launched the Dare to Be Vulnerable Project.
About Susan Blain:
Susan is a change agent, an on-air host, a storyteller, a videographer and mental health activist. In our society, mental illness is often misunderstood and stigmatized. We like to call it mental wellness because you can’t find wellness if you believe in the illness. She has created a project called Dare to Be Vulnerable. She also supports Habitat for Humanity, Suits Me a self-esteem workshop for women, business mentor for Junior Achievement. Loves walking her dogs and baking.
