Scott shares about his shift from being in the Canadian military to becoming an entrepreneur. His path was not without its challenges, but he found that some of these ended up being beneficial in the long run. Ultimately, his driving motive is to create a future where he can spend quality time with loved ones and pass down a meaningful legacy to his sons, should they choose to pursue it.
About Scott Harrigan:
Scott was raised in Dalhousie New Brunswick. He graduated from the Royal Military College and became a Royal Canadian Navy officer for 21 years. He had done tours in the Persian Gulf, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Haiti and 1,400 days at sea. He was medically released from the Navy and started to run Glorope full-time in 2018. He bought Glorope in 2016 from a US company. He is based out of the East Coast and joined a regional entrepreneurial group called the Entrepreneurial Leaders Program through the Wallace McCain Institute. Scott also acquired The Candied Jalapeno Company in 2020.
